Verde NRCD Local Work Group
The Verde Local Work Group held on April 19, 2024, focused on Conservation Planning in the Verde Valley. Panelists in the first session included Sharma Torrens representing Central Arizona Land Trust, appraiser Paul Groseta and Jodi Norris of The Nature Conservancy. The second panel, ably moderated by Matt Halldorson from Yavapai County Cooperative Extension focused on local Conservation efforts and included panelists: John Ford TNC, Sierra Frydenlund, soil conservationist from the Flagstaff office of the Natural Resource Conservation Service and Chip Norton, Chairman of the Verde NRCD.

The University of Arizona Cooperative Extension Service 2025 Wine Grape Harvest
The 2025 Arizona Wine Grape Harvest Report summarizes self-reported acreage, production, fruit utilization, and pricing data from commercial wine grape growers across Arizona.
